Budding Rwanda goalkeeper Hugo Bigirimana has joined Swiss Challenge League side Neuchatel Xamas on a two-year deal.

Bigirimana 19, joins the second tier club from BEJune, another Swiss club where he was the first choice goalkeeper of the U19 side.

At Xamas, he is expected to offer stiff opposition to the club's incumbent number one goalie Theo Guivarch as the team battles to qualify for the Super League.

Born in Switzerland to Rwandan parents, Bigirimana is eligible to represent both countries. He is yet to be capped at any national level.
