When I read the Auditor General’s report for the year ending on the 31st of December 2007, I felt like appreciating the work done by E-Rwanda, CEPEX and the Southern Province for maintaining proper books of accounts and coming up with proper audit reports.

It is unfortunate that the media did not report this positive development as much as they reported on the poor reports of other institutions.

Doing a good job is our responsibility but members of the public should be informed about those that did well as much as those who didn’t do well.
