Norbert Rusanganwa, better known as Kenny Sol, formerly signed under Igitangaza Music, has released a song dubbed ‘Haso’ dedicated to all hustlers, telling them to never give up no matter what they are going through.

He says that inspiration came from what people go through in their everyday lives, and his personal experience.

"The idea stemmed from what I have been through to get to where I am today, and what the future holds. I also thought about hustlers out here in these tough times we are in,” the singer tells The New Times.

‘Haso’ is Sol’s first song since he left Igitangaza Music where he was under Bruce Melody’s management for over a year.

The ‘Umurego’ singer confirmed that he left Igitangaza Music last month and that he has started a new journey without management.

The departure of Sol and another artiste, Juno, was officially announced by Bruce Melody and Juno via their social media platforms last week.

"Yes it is true my contract with Igitangaza Music came to an end last month and I am now on my own. Plus, this is the first time I’m talking about it with the media. I wanted to release my project first then talk about it while promoting the song,” he says.

Asked about his time with Igitangaza Music Sol says that though he released a few songs during his time there, there was a big difference compared to how it was before he joined because the exposure was major, and the quality of his projects was great.

Sol thanks Bruce Melody for his initiative and says that ‘Ikinyafu’ featuring Melody gave his following a major boost.

Regarding the idea behind his video script ‘Agafire’, Sol says he focused on audio lyrics more and tried to put each and everything in the video so that people who listen to the audio first find it easy to understand the video as well.

He says that he has more projects in the studio and leaving Igitangaza is a big challenge which will put him under pressure to work even harder. But he promises not to disappoint his fans.
