Bruce Melodie has released the video of his song Katapilla, one of the songs on his upcoming album.
This comes after fans voted on social media for the star to release
‘Ndagatora’, one of the songs on the unreleased album dubbed, ‘CHAPTER 12:21’.
On June 2, Bruce Melodie had tweeted asking fans to choose which of the tracks he should release first.
The love track, released Thursday, follows seven days of hype.
"I have always enjoyed making love songs even though I was working on different areas of life. It’s not a new style. I am a man of love so I really enjoy making love songs,” the Katerina hitmaker told The New Times.
Asked about the meaning of his new song Katapilla, he said: "Katapilla means two things. Small animals, and big cars or machines used in construction. I start the song asking a girl if she could let me be her katapilla in Swahili language, meaning that I can protect her or create ways for her.”
"The album is crazy,” the Bado singer said. "Lots of great hits are coming your way soon.”
Other songs on the upcoming album include ‘Jioni’ and ‘Ndagatora’
