Gospel musician Patient Bizimana has said his father is the happiest man after the singer announced that he finally got a life partner.

The singer and his US-based fiancee Gentille Uwera were listed among the soon-to-wed couples presented before the church on Sunday, June 20, in a virtual ceremony held at Evangelical Restoration Church (ERC) Masoro.

"Friend and partner for life "Gentille B”, the one who fits my heart, my divine gift and my blessing, today I celebrate your presence in my life, you’re the miracle that ever happened in my life. With you, life has its real meaning and worth to be enjoyed...God is so faithful,” Bizimana posted on his Instagram account after the presentation.

The singer’s decision could have been influenced by his father who has, on different occasions, been asking his son to get married.

A huge fan of Bizimana’s music, the father has regularly been attending a number of his son’s concerts, including his annual Easter Celebration, and it was during the 2018 edition of the concert that he took to the stage to ask the singer, before his music supporters, to get himself a life partner.

That same year, a relationship between Bizimana and his fiancée was brewed. The couple is now working on official dates for their wedding.

The singer told The New Times that his father celebrated when he was presented with a future daughter-in-law.

 "When I introduced my fiancé to the family, my father was so happy about the good news. It was like a party,” he said in a telephone interview.

"But this is also the moment I’ve been waiting for a long time. The introduction in church marks the beginning of our new life chapter,” he added.

The singer has previously been rumored to be dating different girls, including Miss Rwanda 2015 and Canada-based Doriane Kundwa, Deborah Masasu, a daughter to Apostle Joshua Masasu and female gospel singer Gabby Kamanzi.

Patient Bizimana is one of the most celebrated gospel musicians that Rwanda has in its ranks. Menye Neza, Ikimenyetso”, "Mana Yanjye”, and "Ubwo buntu” are among his top hit songs.
