Below is what constitutes his perfect weekend: My family and I plan for the weekend on Fridays. We plan for the activities, menu, and places to visit. It’s our family tradition, and our kids always remind us if we have been too busy to remember.
On Saturday, I wake up early, have a bath, and then get ready to share breakfast with my family. My breakfast normally comprises black spiced tea, bread, eggs and juice.
I don’t use sugar. I prefer honey because health experts claim that too much sugar in the body might lead to health problems. We normally go out for lunch on weekends, and then dinner at home.
Our favourite places for the weekends are Golf Club and Bourbon Coffee Shop at the MTN Centre in Nyarutarama. We go to Church on Sunday. From there, we go back home for lunch, and later in the evening take the kids for swimming at any place of their choice.
My favourite dish is munyige (Ugandan traditional dish of matooke), meat, and greens. And like my kids, I enjoy watching movies and listening to gospel music. I also do a lot of exercise over the weekend to keep physically fit.
I neither booze nor go to nightclubs. But sometimes, my wife and I go out on a romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant around Kigali.
