Angeline Konkobwa Muganza is the Executive Secretary of the Public Services Commission. She is married and a mother of four; three boys and a girl.

When were you happiest?

In 1973 when I passed my Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

Greatest fear…

A snake!

Childhood memories ……

When our family fled to Uganda in 1962. Unfortunately, my elder sister died in the process of fleeing.

Most unappealing habit…

Talking too much, especially when I’m talking to my children. I’m also so questioning that sometimes I tend to go too far!

What was your wedding day like?

Oh my God, it was the best day ever in my life! I felt so special and it was attended by very many people.

Fondest memory of your mother or your grandmother…

They were both hardworking and generous women.

Greatest achievement…

Graduating at university despite the harsh conditions.

What keeps your awake at night?

Nothing, maybe if I’m preparing myself for an important social event and reading a book, but normally under normal circumstances I hardly fail to get sleep.

The most important lesson life has taught you…

That vision and persistency pay.

A movie that impresses you……

I’m not a movie fanatic, but must admit that I enjoy watching, "Coach Carter”, directed by Thomas Carter. The movie is based on a true life story.

Where in Rwanda would you spend a weekend?

Rwanda is a generally beautiful country. It’s green, clean and peaceful! I would spend my weekend anywhere in it.

I hate being…

Dishonest or a hypocrite

What are your plans after retiring?

Sharing my own personal experience with other people.

What makes your day great?

When I have successfully accomplished my day’s agenda.

The craziest thing you have ever done in life….

Accepting to work in Kibwezi, Makueni district in Kenya when pregnant. It’s one of the remotest areas I had never been to.

When I have time to myself……

I rest at home whilst chatting with my children or visit family and friends.
