Rwanda’s fast RnB rising star, Ariel Uwayezu popularly known as Ariel Wayz has announced that she will perform in Burundi in a concert scheduled for October 29, in Bujumbura.
It is going to be her first performance in the country.
Ariel, who recently survived a motor accident, performed at Youth Connekt last weekend at Intare Arena alongside Bruce Melodie, Chris Eazy, Jah Playzah and Nigerian singer Patoranking.
The ‘Away’ hit maker told The New Times that he is ready to perform for his Burundi fans after a long time of giving them back to back hit songs.
"I’m really excited to perform for the first time in Burundi,” Ariel said.
The Nyundo School of Art and Music graduate added: "I’ve always wanted to perform there, it was just a matter of time and now I can’t wait to give them good vibes as I thank them for supporting my music career.”
Asked if she has fully recovered from injuries that she sustained from the accident, the vocalist said that she is feeling fine.
"I feeling great both physically or mentally, Bujumbura should expect a burning show later this month,” she said.
Ariel Wayz recently released her second Extended Play (EP) ‘Touch the Sky’ which is made up of six singles.
