Their wish was granted when the rappers announced a concert to launch their EP ‘Icyumba cy’ Amategeko’ which is due on August 24 at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village.

The EP features six tracks namely ‘Hip Hop’, ‘Amategeko’, ‘Miseke Igoramye’, ‘Nkubona Fo’, ‘Muba Nigga’ and ‘Bakunda Abapfu.’

For Riderman, the Hip Hop community have shown so much love to the masterpiece that he and Bulldogg decided to hold a concert as a special occasion to perform every son on the EP even before fans started requesting it.

"This is the best time to host a full hip hop concert after a long time when there had been few to no exclusive Hip Hop concerts. Fans will enjoy this EP to its fullest potential and we hope that they will have a good time,” he told The New Times.

The musician, only one of two rappers to have won Primus Guma Guma Super Star music contest, added that they will reveal other artists who will help them stage on of the best hip hop concerts in years.

Riderman and Bulldog are regarded as legends of Rwandan hip hop, having been making music for over 15 years now. Their connection in the album has left many clicking on their songs again and again.

The joint EP was entirely produced in the old school hip hop genre of the 90s and early 2000s, which is one of the reasons that led the charts. The artists have had collaborations before but when they were about to do another song together, Bulldog suggested that they instead do something bigger and different from the previous records, and the rest ‘was history.’
