APR men’s volleyball club will be looking to retain the Liberation Day tournament when it returns to action from July 26-28.
The 2024 edition will take place at Petit Stade gymnasium, with the army side aiming to defend the trophy they won in 2023 after beating Gisagara VC 3-1 sets in the final.

"We have started preparations as we hope to seize the chance to retain the Liberation tournament,” club head coach Sammy Mulinge told Times Sport, emphasizing that winning the trophy would boost their morale ahead of the new season.
The 2024 liberation Day volleyball tournament will attract eight teams including, with four in each of men’s and women’s categories.
Police, Kepler, APR and Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will be contesting for men’s trophy while APR, Ruhango, RRA and holders Police are vying for the silverware in women category.
