APR midfielder Sharaf Eldin Shaiboub is set to join Libyan outfit Al Hilal Benghazi on a two-year deal.

APR midfielder Sharaf Eldin Shaiboub is set to join Libyan outfit Al Hilal Benghazi on a two-year deal.

Shaiboub, 30, asked to be released by the Rwandan champions before the Summer transfer window closes despite having one more year on his contract and his wish was granted.

Times Sport understands that Sudan international is currently in Libya to finalize his move to Al Hilal Benghazi after agreeing to the club's offer.

Shaiboub was among APR's outstanding players of the 2023/24 season, scoring 9 league goals as the army side finished the campaign unbeaten.

He previously played for teams including Al Hilal Omdurman in Sudan and Simba SC in Tanzania.
