This is the essence of The Brothers music group, to build connections between people and live inspired music, striving to bring that inspiration into the world around us.

The group has released 12 singles, which include its famous hit tracks "Ikirori” (The Show) and "Byabuhe” (Those Days).

It was nominated in 2006, for the Pam African Music (PAM) Awards, walking away with an award of (Rwanda Best Music Group), and another similar award followed in 2007, beating their rival groups, the famous (Kigali Boyz Group [KGB] and the Holy Jah Doves.)

Featuring a vocal collaboration with the group, Ziggy 55 captures the spirit and energy of the group’s live performances, and the result is a work of art that explores a new musical identity.

The defining statement from a group whose sole purpose in creating music is to reflect the process of social improvement by starting from within, hence embracing the name, "The Brothers.”

In collaboration with the star from 2006, when the duo met Ziggy 55, they shared their musical talents to promote the culture of music in the country and work as brothers through the creation of socially conscious, uplifting music.

In the spirit of "music”, the edutainment of real hip hop and the common belief that music can move mountains, their lyrics talks about ‘love and peace’ to help music-lovers enjoy their music.

Nodding heads with interesting lyrics with wit, the group leader Ziggy 55 says the group turns phrases by mixing several tones to influence in a true unique fusion of hip hop, dancehall, afro beat, rock and Rnb.

The group can easily be compared to the Boyz 2 Men, and none other than the Necessary Noise.

The group leader Ziggy 55, born and raised in Rwanda spent most of his youth working as a DJ in different discotheques in Kigali.

The Brothers has made national tours and have staged several shows within the country and were all extraordinary. With all mentioned, the group is promising to never separate, but to stay as Brothers for the sake of their fans and group’s progress.
