APR FC vs Al Hilal (Azam Complex)

Al Hilal head coach Florent Ibenge is confident that his charges can still go all the way and eliminate APR FC from the 2024 CECAFA Kagame Cup semifinals despite injury crisis.

The two sides will lock horns at Azam Complex on Friday, July 19, with a ticket to the final up for grabs.

Al Hilal are the only club which has a 100 percent win record in the competition, heading into the semifinals after winning all their three group stage matches. They, however, face a herculean task against APR who are also unbeaten in the last three group matches, having won twice against Al Merreikh Bentiu and Singida Black Stars and drawn once against Ugandan champions SC Villa.

A host of Al Hilal players are said to be on the sidelines ahead of the game but Ibenge remains optimistic that his side can cope with APR and get positive results.
