Rwanda registers 135 new Covid-19 cases

Rwanda on Thursday, April 1, reported 135 new Covid-19 cases and one fatality linked to the virus.
Kigali reported the highest number of daily infections; 16. Muhanga district came second with 15 new Covid-19 cases.
On the same day, 126 people recovered from Covid-19.
The new results were obtained from 8,497 sample tests collected in the last 24 hours.
So far, the country has recorded a total of 21,918 Covid-19 infections since mid-March last year, of whom 20,308 have already recovered.
The Covid-19 death toll stands at 308 in Rwanda.
According to the Ministry of Health, of the current 1,302 Covid-19 patients in the country, five are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, Rwanda has so far vaccinated 348,926 people against Covid-19.
