The world is full of fun and amazing things. When I was young, I loved visiting the zoo even though I feared animals. I could not come near them even if they were the smallest. However, there was one thing that I loved most, small insects.

I can say that my favourite were ladybirds. They are very gentle and I always made them walk on my hand before they would fly away. When teacher told us to draw and colour pictures, lady birds were very easy to draw.

Ladybirds are very beautiful insects when they are alive and when they are drawn and coloured. Its colours are brightly wonderful and above all, not harmful.

Ladybirds are special because they have different names. They can be called Ladybug, Ladybird beetles and Lady beetles. Like any other insect, they have three body parts: the head, thorax and abdomen. They have hard wings and six short legs joined to the thorax.
