Rwanda reports 119 new Covid-19 cases, no death

Rwanda reported 119 new Covid-19 infections on Thursday, February 18, raising the tally of confirmed cases to 17,835.

No person succumbed to the virus on Thursday. 

Instead, on the same day, 245 people recovered from the virus, raising the total number of recoveries to 16,163.

For the last couple of weeks, Rwanda has been recording daily recovered cases higher than new infections. The country's recovery rate- the percentage of people who recovered from Covid-19 out of all the confirmed cases- is 90.6 percent.

Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Health, there are 12 patients of Covid-19 who are currently critically ill.
