Rwanda reports 141 new Covid-19 infections

The Ministry of Health on Monday, January 15, announced that 141 people tested positive for Covid-19, whereas 333 others recovered from the virus.
Kigali is still the main hotspot of Covid-19 country-wide. On Monday, the city reported 49 new infections.
Meanwhile, on the same day, no person succumbed to the virus in Rwanda.
Overall, the country has confirmed 17,484 Covid-19 cases of whom 15,125 have already recovered. Also, 239 people have already succumbed to the virus.
Of the current 2,120 Covid-19 patients, 10 are in critical condition.
Concerning testing, Rwanda has so far collected 950,569 sample tests since the outbreak of the virus in March last year.
