Rwanda registers five fatalities, 132 new cases

Five people succumbed to Covid-19 in Rwanda on Friday, February 12. This raised the country's total number of Covid-19 deaths to 236.
On the same day, 132 people tested positive for the virus, whereas 259 others recovered from it.
So far, Rwanda has confirmed a total of 17,200 Covid-19 cases and 13,937 recoveries.
Obtained from 4,230 sample tests collected in the last 24 hours, the new results by the Ministry of Health show that most of Friday's infections were detected in Kigali; 25 people tested positive.
Of all 30 districts, only 7 districts did not report a single Covid-19 case.
Meanwhile, the country has 16 patients who are in critical condition.
