Africa is an incredible place; its captivating sceneries and amazing wildlife make it the perfect spot for adventure. And when it comes to travel, it’s definitely filled with quite a number of beautiful places to visit.

There are plenty of beaches, deserts, mountains and vast savannah. These evoke mystery and splendour but also, hold a flawless beauty that makes them a hotspot and perfect scenery for photography. 

Here are some of the most amazing places in Africa with Insta-worthy imagery;

Masai Mara 

This is home to a magnificent array of wildlife. The Mara, a national reserve, is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in south-western Kenya. Its grassy plains and rolling hills is home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos.

Lake Kivu

Located at Rwanda’s western border, Lake Kivu is a stunning place to visit. Its crystal clear and sparkling water make it a sight to see and gorgeous place to unwind for a holiday.

Mount Kilimanjaro

The mountain is very popular for its dominating landscape. Found in Tanzania, Mount Kilimanjaro is considered to be the highest mountain in Africa. The fact that it’s the highest free-standing mountain in the world makes it iconic and promptly unique in its nature.

Blue Nile Falls

Known as Tis Abay which means ‘great smoke,’ the Blue Nile Falls is a waterfall on the Blue Nile river in Ethiopia. It has an impressive scene with waters that show off Ethiopia’s natural beauty. The waters are apparently most impressive in the rainy season from June to early September.

Synonymous with wildlife, Serengeti National Park is a classic of an African scenery. This is what makes it one of the most famous parks in Africa. The park’s setting is notorious with grassland plains; wildlife is also in plenty with a variety for tourists.  It is Tanzania’s oldest park.

Bandiagara

Bandiagara is a small town and urban commune in the Mopti Region of Mali. The name translates roughly to ‘large eating bowl’, referring to the communal bowl meals are served in. What makes this town special is its exceptional landscape; it has cliffs and sandy plateaux with beautiful architecture and several age-old social traditions that continue to live on in the region.

Volcanoes National Park

It is a vibrant and unique park with a wide array of wildlife species. It is also famous for harbouring the endangered mountain Gorillas in Rwanda and its jagged terrain, copious and enclosed rainforest is what sets it apart.
