Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Union Saint Gilloise have parted ways with their shot stopper Maxime Kali Wenssens after one year together.
The Rwanda international’s contract expired on July 1 and he has now been officially released by the club.
Wenssens, 22, mainly featured for the club's second team in the 2de National ACFF which is the fourth tier in Belgian football. He made 8 appearances, conceded 13 goals and kept 2 clean sheets. He also made a couple of appearances on the bench of the senior team as third choice keeper.

He has previously had stints at St. Truiden and KV Mechelen. He officially made his international debut with Rwanda on March 24 when Amavubi beat Madagascar 2-0 in a FIFA international friendly held in Antananarivo.
Wenssens is said to be a transfer target of several third tier league clubs in Belgium while a move abroad is also a big possibility.
