AFTER repeatedly postponing the 2008 Utexrwa Cup final, fresh reports indicate that defending champions Challengers and Kigali Cricket Club (KCC) will square up this Sunday for the ultimate prize.

The clubs progressed to the final after topping the round-robin preliminary stage that also merged Young Tigers, Indorwa and Right Guards cricket clubs.

KCC topped proceedings with three wins and a draw while Challengers finished second after recording two wins (Indorwa and Young Tigers) and two defeats against KCC and Right Guards respectively.

The final will be held at Kicukiro oval.
