Rwandan musician and first time voter in the presidential elections set for July 15, has said that he will vote for RPF candidate Paul Kagame because he gave him a space to grow.

The artist is among a host of artistes performing during the campaign rallies, entertaining millions of residents attending the incumbent president’s campaign in various parts of the country.
Prior to his performance during the campaign in Kayonza on Sunday, July 7, the ‘Wait’ hit maker praised Kagame, saying that he will vote for him because "he gave me a space to grow and he gave opportunities to do what he likes to do. That is why I will vote for him.”
Kivumbi will be casting his vote in the presidential elections for the first time, an experience he is anticipating with much excitement.
"As a first time voter, I feel good because I know I’m making the right choice. I expect growth from what we already have which is already good enough and personal growth for me as an artist and every Rwandan,” said Kivumbi.

Kivumbi King, known for his latest hit tracks 'Wait' and 'Madam,' has been making waves in the music industry since his debut album 'A Sin Called Dreaming.'
