While campaigning in Kayonza District, Paul Kagame, the RPF Chairman and flagbearer in this month’s presidential elections, said that leading Rwandans cannot be compared to anything.

He was addressing thousands residents from Kayonza, Rwamagana, and Ngoma districts gathered to show support and hear more from the flagbearer as RPF and its allied political parties move to canvass votes on July 7, the last rally in the Eastern Province.
He arrived at the site in the afternoon, following his stop in Nyagarate District where he reminded supporters that Rwandans should no longer worry about making it to another day, as was the case when most people had been exiled in neighbouring countries.
Kagame is competing with former lawmaker Frank Habineza of the Democratic Green Party of Rwanda, and Philippe Mpayimana, an independent candidate, in the presidential and parliamentary elections set for July 14-15.
He said that it is because of the people that Rwanda successfully went through all the challenges in the past 30 years, adding that it is now in the past and the people should look forward to the good things ahead.
"Leading Rwandans cannot be compared to anything. Leading RPF cannot be compared to anything.”

"For people to attain many good things we desire, security is a prerequisite and we have done that, one must also build an inclusive political orientation that leaves no one behind, that is the journey we are in.”
The incumbent President said that electing RPF and its candidate means choosing security, good governance, and development, adding that their huge turnout at the site seems like the elections are over.

He noted that tourism, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, schools, healthcare are all the foundation upon which Rwandans are able to do everything that develop them and reach far.
Furthermore, he said that they should be characterized by doing good things swiftly.

Over the past seven years, Bugesera District witnessed the construction of 56 kilometers of tarmac roads, homes with access to electricity increased from 29,118 to 91,277, at least 4,283 cows were distributed under Gira Inka programme, 1,029 classrooms were built, and at least 23,422 people got employed under the VUP programme.
