US-based Rwandan musician Medard Jobert Ngabo could soon become a husband, after he officially engaged his long-term girlfriend Mimi Mehfira as she was celebrating her birthday on Friday, December 18. 

Meddy took advantage of Mehfira’s birthday celebrations and, with an engagement ring in his hands and a knee down, professed his love for her before their invited friends and family at a colorful party held in Dallas, Texas in the United States. 

The ‘Nta Wamusimbura’ singer brought Mehfira to Kigali in 2018 and introduced her to his family days after she did the same in Ethiopia.

He was, at the time, preparing to perform at the New Year’s East African Party.

During the show, the singer did the extraordinary and introduced his girlfriend on stage before his fans to confirm rumors of their relationship.

Meddy and Mimi have been dating since 2016 and are looking forward to tying the knot.  We wish them the best!
