Rwandan envoy to France, François Nkulikiyimfura, on Saturday, July 6, paid a courtesy visit to the Rwandan Olympic Team which is in the country for the 2024 Olympic Games due in Paris from July 26 to August 11.

The team arrived in France on Saturday morning, July 6, and is currently accommodated at Hotel Odalys City Paris Levallois-Perret. The athletes will be camping in Courbevoie for a two-week pre-training camp before heading to the Olympic Village on July 23.

During his visit, Nkulikiyimfura welcomed the team and wished them luck at the Olympic Games, emphasizing the embassy&039;s support during their stay.

"Exemplify Rwandan values and strive for excellence in representing our nation,” the ambassador told the athletes.

Rwanda will be represented by eight athletes, five women and three men, competing in cycling, athletics, swimming, and fencing. Notably, this year marks Rwanda's debut in fencing at the Olympics.
