Rwanda registers another Covid-19 fatality

A 71 year-old man succumbed to Covid-19 in Kigali on Friday, December 11.

So far, the country has reported 54 Covid-19 deaths.

On the same day, out of 3,642 Covid-19 sample tests collected in the last 24 hours, 79 people tested positive.

31 infections of the new cases were detected in Kigali, 27 in Musanze district, 12 in Burera district and nine in Rubavu district.

Meanwhile, Friday also saw 37 people recovering from the virus. 

So far, the country has confirmed 6,428 Covid-19 cases, of whom 5,826 have already recovered.

Currently, 661,637 Covid-19 sample tests have been conducted in Rwanda.
