WESTERN PROVINCE

KARONGI — Obed Ndagijimana is the Executive Secretary of one of the Sectors in Ngororero District. He recently became a member of Imbuto Foundation a move which to him signified a major paradigm shift in how he leads his life.

After spreading its famous campaign of fighting a culture of having low self esteem among the Rwandan youth, excitement engulfed the entire youth segments of Western Province as the Imbuto Foundation leadership turned focus on the province at Morial Hill resort in Karongi District.

To properly rally the youth to the course Imbuto Foundation organized a workshop whose core theme was youth empowerment.

"Making a difference in society needs a different mindset. This is very possible achievement which the members of the young generations like you should undertake,’ Senator Aloisea Inyumba, who is also a member of Imbuto Foundation said during the workshop.

Cecile Murumunawabo, an official from the foundation, commented that the organization’s work focus on empowering the youth segments of the Rwandan population to be at the forefront of the country’s transformation in all spheres of life.

‘If we would have had this kind of institution whereby the youth segments are given an avenue to soar to greater heights we would be miles away as a nation-state,’ one of the participants noted.
