World Vision Rwanda has donated 10,000 books to Ruhengeri Institute of Higher Education-INES in a bid to promote the institute’s quality of education provision.

The extensive collection was presented to the institute by the World Vision capacity strengthening manager, Anne Mutabaruka.

Speaking during the hand over , Mutabaruka said that World Vision as an organization that supports students education is keen on enabling students to  expand their knowledge through research, and challenged them to make better use of the donated collection.

This was the third higher institution of learning to receive support from World Vision.

The Vice Rector in charge of Academics Rev.Fr.Dr Fabien Hagenimana appreciated the donation and said that the donation has come at a time when INES programs are taught in a modular system which requires a lot of learning material for the students to conduct research.

INES is  a higher learning institute created in 2000 by Ruhengeri catholic diocese.
