Ugandan businessmen robbed in Tabagwe

NYAGATARE—A group of Ugandans from Kabale district carrying out petty business in Mimuri sector were robbed of "large money” on their way across the border.

As Ugandans were smiling back home with their business capital and profits of the day after trading their merchandise two thugs with Kalashnikovs attacked and stole all money in an ambush in Nyabihekeri cell.

According to sector officials, the thugs stole money from Ugandans money worth Frw350,000 and 180,000 Uganda shillings.

Sector officials intimated that two suspects were arrested in an operation of both armies in collaboration with Nyabihekeri residents in a bid to curb armed robbery in the area.

Ugandans has business relations with Rwandans near the Rwanda –Uganda border. Many are seen in different sectors trading foodstuffs and other petty business.
