WITH the men’s soccer league on hold following the national soccer team’s preparations for an upcoming 2010 Africa/ World Cup qualifier, the ladies are set to provide the entertainment this weekend.

Reigning champions APR host Bugesera at Camp Kigali hoping to take advantage of any sleep up by league table leaders.

Aspeg who are also looking to consolidate their pole position with a tough tie against Rayon Sport in Rwamagana. Since this year’s league kick-off, Aspeg have been in fantastic form, winning all their first three matches, but Rayon Sport is expected to test their title credentials. 

Rayon Sport goes into today’s tie in top mood after winning their last two games.

APR captain Edith Umulisa was in a bullish mood yesterday.

"We have to win our match tomorrow (Sunday) and hope that Aspeg don’t win against Rayon Sport,” she said. Else where, AS Kigali host Rubavu, La Chereta is away to Lions de Fer while Musanze lock horns with Remera.
