Defender Ange Jimmy Mutsinzi has left FK Jerv to sign a two-year deal with Azerbaijani powerhouse Zira FK.
The Rwanda international had one year left on his FK Jerv contract before Zira triggered his buyout clause for an undisclosed fee to secure his services.
Zira FK will be playing in the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League preliminary round and their first outing will be against FC Sheriff of Moldova which Mutsinzi is expected to feature.

Previously Mutsinzi had stints at Rwanda top two football powerhouses Rayo Spoerts and APR FC before embarking on professional football with Portuguese side CD Trofense.
Based in the City of Baku, Zira FK, was founded a decade ago. They finished second in the 2023/24 Azerbaijani league and this is going to be their third appearance in the Europa League.
