It was a fair weekend for Rwandan players abroad as a host of players continue to make their mark at club level.

Ange Mutsinzi and Josias King Furaha were in great form as Jerv moved on top of the table in the Norwegian third tier league while star defender Emmanuel Imanishimwe is set to start for AS FAR Rabat who face Raja in the final of the Moroccan Throne Cup.

Times Sport looks at how Rwandan players fared abroad over the weekend.

Morocco

Left-back Emmanuel Imanishimwe is expected to start on Monday, July 1, when AS FAR face Raja Casablanca in the final of the Throne Cup.

Sweden

Both Yannick Mukunzi and Lague Byiringiro were once again not in action as their side Sandviken IF suffered a 4-1 mauling at the hands of Degefors on Saturday, June 29.

In the same division, winger Rafael York missed Gefle&039;s 2-2 draw against Brage.

Norway

Josias King Furaha played 83 minutes while countryman Ange Mutsinzi also played full time as their side FK Jerv pipped Nottoden 1-0 to move on top of the Norwegian third tier.

United States

In the USL, there was no game for Jojea Kwizera as they are on mid-season break until July 6.

Elsewhere, in the third tier, Innocent Nshuti came in for Kempes Tekiela in the 94th minute as his club One Knoxville beat Forward Madison 2-0 on Sunday, June 30.

Kenya

Striker Arthur Gitego was in action for AFC Leopards who defeated Kariobangi Sharks 2-1 to finish third in the Mozzart Cup.

Gitego's 5 goals saw him named top scorer of the tournament.

Latvia

Centre back Dylan Maes replaced Marcis Stusts in the 41st minute as FS Jelgava were held by Tumkums to a goalless draw.
