APR FC head coach Darko Novic has said that his players have been responding positively to the preseason training although they still have a room for improvement.

Prior to the match, Novic said, "I am very happy with how preparations have been going in general since I arrived. The players will do what we ask for. It is a bigger responsibility but we cannot be judged by the match against Police. We have a lot to do, we will give our best in the game and we will play a very good game."
