The Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee (RNOSC) holds their annual General Assembly on Sunday at Lemigo Hotel in Kigali, during which a number of issues will be discussed. 

RNOSC President Valens Munyabagisha has revealed that among the major items on the agenda will be the discussion about establishing an academy dubbed ‘Rwanda Olympic Academy’.

"We will discuss for the academy and preparation of young athletes (under-18) in various sports.”

Weekend Sport also understands that the meeting will look at the achievements and challenges faced during the 2019/20 year, the budget for the upcoming sports year as well as the future of the body’s leadership. 

Munyabagisha and his Executive Committee’s current term in office ends in March 2021.
