Rwanda Kungu-fu federation will start this season’s activities with a first national tournament March 29 at Amahoro indoor stadium.
The federation boss Yassin Mubarak told Times Sport yesterday that the one-day tournament is aimed at re-launching the federation and promoting the sport across the country.
"Our federation has been in the dark without proper structures and policies but since we (the current administration) took over last year, everything has been put in order.
"We intend to use this tournament to promote the Kung-fu and also pick the best players who will represent the country in an international tournament in Baku, Azerbaijan from October 23-25,” Mubarak said.
The tournament is expected to attract over 24 clubs from all corner of the country and will cost the organizers an estimated Frw8 millions.
