Zambia coach Herve Renard has admitted that his team will face a tough task winning against Egypt in the third round of the 2010 World and Africa Nations’ Cup qualifier due on March 29 in Cairo.

Renard told Zambia Times that the Chipolopolo will face a one of their toughest challenges in their campaign.

"Big teams like Cameroon and Nigeria have failed to beat Egypt in Cairo, and I am worried if a smaller team like ours will change that record,” Renard said, adding that his team will always have confidence that they can cause an upset.

The French coach added that he is in the process of building a promising Zambian national side.

"I choose my players according to their displays and capabilities not their names and reputation.

Renard is counting on eight youngsters, who were part of the Zambian team that finished third in the African domestic championship.

"In addition to the young players, I was also keen to call up other who can contribute with their expertise,” added Renard.

The Chipolopolo were drawn alongside Egypt, Algeria and Rwanda in the second phase of the African World Cup qualification Group C.

Rwanda faces Algeria in the same campaign on March 28 in Kigali.
