Asaph Worship band is delivering a message of hope to the wider community through media outlets. According to the band, the key message for this tour is to instil hope in people despite the Covid-19 pandemic which has disrupted plans and expectations of many this year.

The band which is based in Zion Temple Nyarutarama Campus, is composed of three worshippers namely Adeline Uwinema, Gasasira Rugamba Serge and Chloe Florence Mutesi.

 Uwinema, the band’s spokesperson said that the new drive of spreading the message of hope will be carried out in collaboration with different media houses.

 "This year, we plan to evangelize through a media tour so as to abide by Covid-19 guidelines, unlike the previous years, where we toured all around the country carrying out concerts,”

 "Let the Story Be Told” Media Tour is all about telling the story of hope to uplift the spirits of the people. So far, the team has visited different media houses. 

Last week, the band was hosted by RBA during the Versus show and KC2’s Morning Café as well as Magic FM.

 "We hope to do this more with other media outlets so that we can disseminate this message of hope to as many people as possible,” she said.

 The worship team says it will visit different media house, bloggers, as well as social media influencers so as to declare the good news of Jesus, tell people that he is the way to the father, and through faith in him, the relationship with God will be restored.

 Uwinema said they used to hold a concert in one district of each province and wrap up in Kigali, but this time they are going to use media houses as the platforms to share their message.

 Since 2017, the conduit for good news has been proclaiming the name of Jesus in songs. So far, they have released three albums, "Glorious resurrection”, "Paid in Full” and "Living sacrifice.”
