More often, I have been telling you that children are human beings who should also enjoy the best of their rights.

Today I want to share with you issues  about freedom of expression as a right for any child. Like adults, children need to express their ideas. 

There are different ways through which children can express their ideas. At home, you can do so by talking to your parents.

Children at school express themselves by answering or discussing with their teachers and fellow students. This is through educative activities like debates.

What I would like to emphasise on here, is that children cannot enjoy the freedom of expression, when they are not listened to. Children best express themselves when they are listened to.

Also through writing and drawing, a child is able to express whatever they feel. Still with writing, children feel free to sort out their thoughts.

As children, you need to know from today that you have the right to express all your ideas and feelings knowing that you will be heard.
