After reading about the newly introduced courses in KIST, one of the most prominent institutions in the country, I have come to strongly believe that there is a need to introduce new subjects like agriculture in secondary schools.

Agriculture is the backbone of our nation; therefore, students should be helped to develop the knowledge of a subject that contributes so much to our economy.

I feel it would be somehow strange for a student to do agriculture as a course in higher institutions of learning when he or she does not have basic knowledge readily available.

I urge the Education ministry and every responsible citizen to look into it. That is my suggestion!
