The Nyabugogo bridge has become a no go area because of the increasing number of thieves. We businesspersons are real finding it rough to pass through the bridge, because thieves loitering around the area pick our goods from the rear cabins of our vehicles.

The thieves take advantage of the existing traffic lights (as vehicles stop) at the bridge to off load goods from vehicles.

Pedestrians have also been robbed of money, necklaces, mobile phones, etc, and when they try to resist, the thugs strangle them.

We have lost alot of goods in suchways, and we would like the police to come in, to end ‘theft at the bridge’.
