Ferwafa will not accept any changes in the original date (June 10) set for Rwanda’s 2010 World/Africa Nations Cup qualifiers against African champions, Egypt in Cairo.

The local football federation Chief Executive Officer, Jules Kalisa told Times Sport yesterday that they will not reach any agreement on anything concerning change of dates.
"Changing dates will not be possible because of the many inconveniences.

"We don’t have a private jet to fly our team to Cairo at any time they think they can propose for the qualifier to be played which leaves us with one option, to play on the original date.

"We were the first to propose to play this game on June 22 but they (Egypt) refused and proposed June 10, and now they have seen the consequences of the date because of their own poor planning,” Kalisa said.

However, Kalisa admitted that all now lies with world’s football body, Fifa. "It’s all about Fifa to set another date or maintain the original one.”
