It was all about music vibes at Calabash Rooftop Pub, Kicukiro, on Thursday night, as guests were offered a warm treat from Heineken brand ambassador DJ Marnaud during a colorful opening of the inaugural evening of music mixes brought to the venue by Heineken.

The event, dubbed 'Afterwork Rooftop Mixes by Heineken', was organised by local brewer Bralirwa to create a networking platform between the brewer’s officials and its clients towards promoting Heineken to a wide range of customers.

It also seeks to hype the audience and build the momentum ahead of the highly anticipated ‘Major League’, a Heineken-powered grand show scheduled November 4 at BK Arena with South Africa’s twin DJs ‘Major League DJz’ confirmed as the top headliner alongside a yet to be announced lineup of local DJs.

An audience estimated between 40 and 50 people were invited by the brewer to celebrate the evening of Heineken through music from its brand ambassador DJ Marnaud who never disappointed from the first minute he took on the spin.

Only invited attendees, including social media influencers and media personalities, were allowed to attend the event at Calabash and Marnaud was the man of the show as he lit up the place over the night with exceptional mixes of music.

Some notable prominent names in the field include Patrick Rukundo (Patycope), Aissa Cyiza, DJ Pius, Uncle Austin, DJ Toxxyk among others.

The brewer will be organising similar events every Thursday at designated Heineken premium bars in Kigali with Chillax set to be among potential next destinations.
