Rwanda swimming federation has said that they are optimistic about organising competitions before the end of this year.

November 19 has been set as the tentative date for the inter-club national championship.

However, according to Pamela Girimbabazi, president of the swimming body, all decisions will depend on safety guidelines from the Ministry of Health and instructions from the Ministry of Sports as the country continues the battle against the Covid-19 pandemic.

For the first time, the body’s executive committee held a general assembly on Sunday, August 2, following its election in March this year.
