Patriots basketball club head coach Henry Mwinuka has said that his team will fight not only to stay on top of the table but also go on to win the league title.
Star point guard Will Perry scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists as Patriots on Saturday, June 22, overcame Kepler with an 84-77 win which earned them a place back to the summit of the league standings with 24 points.
"Our prime target is to make sure that we stay on top of the table, it will not be an easy task especially in the second round, but we will keep working hard to improve our game plan and try to do better in every game,” Mwinuka told Times Sport.

"We have a good chance of winning the league but we are focusing on winning our own games. That is why we will fight until the end,” he added.
Patriots won the national championship four times in 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2016 and, having missed out on the title during the past three seasons, they are back in race for this year’s title.
Action will continue on Wednesday when Espoir take on Kigali Titans at Lycee de Kigali gymnasium while UGB will face APR at the same venue.
