Goalkeeper Gad Muhawenayo has expressed delight after joining Gorilla FC on a two-year deal.
The former Musanze FC shot-stopper says he believes in the Gorilla FC project and it suits him that is why he made the move.
"I am happy to sign for Gorilla FC. I like their project and I think it best suits me. They needed me, so I had to sign for them,” he told Times Sport.

"My goal is continuing with the form I exhibited at Musanze. I am looking forward to a great 2024/25 season and I believe I can do something good," he added.
Muhawenayo was part of the final 23-man squad of Amavubi in November 2023 when they drew 0-0 with Zimbabwe and beat South Africa 2-0 in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
At club level, he has previously featured for Amagaju and Gicumbi.
