APR coach Rene Feller has been boosted by the return of influential midfielders Haruna Niyonzima and Jean Baptist Mugiraneza ahead of tomorrow’s Confederation Cup tie against Egypt’s Haras El Hodoud at Nyamirambo stadium.

The Dutchman told Times Sport that he is pleased with the return of the duo and that their availability further boosts his team’s has chances of winning the first leg before traveling for the return leg in Cairo in a fortnight’s time.

"They are fit and I will definitely have them in the squad for Saturday’s game. I had doubts about Mugiraneza’s form but after seeing in training, I think he’s fit enough to play a part on Saturday,” Feller said.

Feller added that the pair has the quality of football that APR plays and hopes for the best with their presence.

The pair returned from the week-long professional trial in France Ligue 1 bottom club Le Havre but striker Elias Uzamukunda, who went for separate trials at FC Nantes remains in France for at least another week.

Meanwhile, Harras Hodoud arrived in the country on Tuesday aboard a private Egyptian Air Force plane and are residing at Sports View hotel, Remera.

Head coach Tarek Al-Ashri said, "We have to be cautious against APR. They beat Zamalek before which means they’re a tough side to play against.”

APR shocked Zamalek, one of African club football giants in the Champions League round of 32 with a 6-4 goals aggregate in 2004.

Hodoud got a bye to the next round while Rene Feller’s team eliminated Kenya’s Gor Mahia 6-0 on goals aggregate.
