SIMBA SC have won the Tanzania Premier League for a third consecutive season and 21st overall, one short of record champions Young Africans.

Rwanda international Meddie Kagere and his teammates were confirmed after a goalless draw against Tz Prisons at Sokoine Stadium on Sunday, having garnered 79 points after 32 matches.

Young Africans are second with 60 points, one ahead of third-placed Azam.

Kagere is the club’s top-scorer this season with 20 league goals.
