APR FC are bent on signing three players from 2023/24 Ghana Premier League champions Samartex FC as club seeks to beef up squad for the 2024/25 domestic league and CAF Champions League.
Times Sport can exclusively reveal that the army side’s scout is in Ghana where he is monitoring central midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh, who had a great season scoring 5 goals providing two assists. He was also named man of the match 10 times from 32 games he played.

The scout was watching from the stands when Samartex beat Accra Lions 2-0 in what was the final game of the season held at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday, June 16.
During the match, two more players including defensive midfielder Seidu Dauda, 23, and centre back Ebenezer Acquah, 25, caught his attention and he is eager to bring them to APR FC along with Keyekeh.
Initial talks between the parties have started and, should APR meet Samartex’s asking price, they could get the three players into their fold for the coming season.
Samartex, owned by Samartex Timber and Plywood Company got promoted to the Ghana Premier League in 2022 and they have managed to win the league in their second season with a pool of talented players.
