"It will be my first tour in Canada and I am sure I have a fan base there. I have on multiple times been invited to perform in the country but I couldn’t make it. It was just a matter of time. My busy schedule could not allow me to go there sometime back but, fortunately, I am ready to go. I am excited,” the star musician said in an interview.

Melodies’ music career recently took a turn when he collaborated with legendary Shaggy on his recent smash hit ‘When She’s Around.’ The track, which is a remix of ‘Funga Macho’, earned him a spotlight in the music industry worldwide and influenced his US media tour, with the song becoming the first Rwandan track to debut on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart of March 2024.
The ‘Katerina’ hitmaker isn’t the only Rwandan musician to perform in Canada. The likes of Nel Ngabo and Kenny Sol previously had performances in the country on various occasions.
Canada becomes Bruce Melodie’s next stop, following other big performances on the globe including his successful US musical tour that reached the 'iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour' in Miami and Dallas, Good Morning America performance and London’s Shaddy Mixtape Party among many others.
