Former national team skipper Haruna Niyonzima is set for a come back to the Primus National League after his stint in Libya.

Former Amavubi skipper Haruna Niyonzima is set for a come back to the Primus National League after his stint in Libya.

The 34-year-old’s one-and-a-half contract with Libyan outfit Al Taawon expires on June 30 and he is on his way out of the club.

Rayon Sport are reportedly in talks with him as they continue search of a new holding midfielder after parting ways with Burundian enforcer Emmanuel Mvuyekure. Police FC are also interested.

Elsewhere, Mukura Victory Sports have completed the signing of Congolese defensive midfielder Jordan Nzau from Etincelles on a two-year deal.

Gorilla FC have also acquired winger Franck Nduwimana from Burundian Ligue 1 side Musongati FC. Nduwimana, who plays from the right flank, netted 18 goals in the just 2023/24 season.
